Yes. The free tier covers unlimited plants in your jungle, watering schedules, the full 641-plant encyclopedia, the plant journal, and 5 plant IDs per day. Pro adds the AI plant doctor, light meter, plant chat, sitter guide, weather-tuned reminders, and unlimited plant IDs. 7-day free trial; 49 kr/month or 375 kr/year after that.
How accurate is plant identification?
Botanicaly uses Gemini 2.5 Flash for visual identification — 90%+ accuracy on common houseplants. If we're not sure, we tell you and offer the top three matches.
Does Botanicaly support outdoor plants?
Outdoor plants are supported with weather-driven schedules tied to your location (Pro). The app is best at houseplants, but it won't shame your tomatoes.
Will Botanicaly nag me with notifications?
No. One quiet morning notification at the time you choose. You can also enable Sitter Mode to silence everything while you're away.
Is my plant data private?
Your plant photos and journal stay encrypted on Firebase, scoped to your account. Botanicaly never sells or trains AI on your collection.
